Video Inspection Applications (RVI)

Remote Video Inspection (RVI) means access to hard-to-reach areas of concern in any scenario. This is accomplished using the right video or fiberoptic probe for each specific application. Fiberscopes, borescopes, videoscopes, pipe cameras and robotic cameras allow you to locate and inspect key areas of concern without excessive disassembly of equipment or systems and without the need for dangerous confined space entries.

Pressure vessels are a particular safety concern for manned entry, but video systems can be inserted through a valve, spool piece, instrumentation thread-o-let, or other access point to provide many inspections remotely. Remote Visual inspection is used to complement predictive and preventative maintenance programs. This technology is also used during commisioning and shutdowns to streamline tasks by providing an inside view that saves time and money.

Maverick Inspection pioneered Remote Visual Testing in Western Canada, and we have provided service for more than 16 years and gathered a lot of experience. We grew as the demand grew, putting together an array of unique equipment to meet our clients' unique inspection needs. We offer complete inspection services, sales, and rentals of remote visual and equipment from videoscopes to robotics to fiberscopes. Our Remote Video Inspection Department is complemented by Laser ProfilingGround Penetrating Radar and Infrared Thermography. We service remote sites and the major centers such as Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Red Deer and Fort McMurray.
