Alberta Conservation Association

On Aug 17 2016, Maverick entered a team and sponsored the ACA Waterfowl Warmup Sporting Clays Team Challenge. It was a great social and sporting event, and an excellent spotlight on outdoor activity and conservation.

Maverick’s Steven Toner and Ryan Brosda plus industry guests made up Team Maverick. Many of Maverick’s employees and clients are avid outdoor enthusiasts, and we all appreciate that Alberta is not only where we work, but where we live and share ACA’s vision:  An Alberta with an abundance and diversity of wildlife, fish and their habitats; where future generations continue to use, enjoy and value our rich outdoor heritage.

Sprint Robotics Seminar in Houston Texas.

The Houston Seminar was organized on the back of the successful first SPRINT Robotics Seminar held in September 2015, at the Sll Technology Centre in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam Seminar had a turnout of 104 attendees, representing 59 different companies. The Houston Seminar was a huge step-up, hosting more than 200 attendees over the 2 days. Approximately 90 different companies were represented, ranging from oil and gas companies, robotic technology developers, NDT service providers, knowledge centers, academia, regulators, and more. Although the majority of these companies were based in North America, numerous European- and Japanese-based companies were also represented.
