THE VIDEO PIG

The prototype video pig was designed and built for a project that required long range (4km) capabilities for liner defections inside pipelines. The video pig was equipped with internal LED lighting and a HD 1080 video recorder that could carry out inspections up to 3 hrs. before batteries needed charging

LASER PIPE PROFILER SKID

Maverick’s R & D group developed a laser pipe profiler skid for large diameter (48″) pipe that was for a project that involved excessive deformations in the Oil Sands. In the images below, a wooden test pipe was built following the construction and testing of the laser pipe profiler skid

Magnetic Crawler – Sourced

Maverick’s ability to source and research new technology for applications started back in 1994. The images below show a magnetic crawler we sourced out for a special application involving a large gas storage sphere that saved the client maintenance and down-time during a large scale shut-down
