Remote Video Inspection (RVI or CCTV Inspection) provides high resolution video imagery inside of equipment and various systems to observe, identify and to gather documentation of internal conditions. RVI is also used to complement predictive and preventative maintenance programs. This technology is frequently used during commissioning and shut-downs to streamline tasks by providing an inside view that saves time and money.

WHAT ARE ADVANTAGES OF MAVERICK’S RVI FOR THE OIL & GAS INDUSTRY?

Maverick can confirm cleanliness inside pressure vessels, pipelines and piping by means of accessing through flanges and valves; removed spool pieces, drain openings, thread-o-lets, tubes, manholes and vaults.
Maverick can retrieve foreign objects and material samples from vessels and piping using the latest in robotic technology
Maverick can confirm results from traditional non-destructive testing (NDT) using an array of RVI systems
Maverick can use explosion proof video systems to help eliminate confine space entries, save costs on purging and steaming on various systems and equipment

Our Remote Video Inspection Department is complemented by Laser Profiling, Ground Penetrating Radar and Infrared Thermography. We service remote sites and the major centres such as Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Red Deer, Fort McMurray and the Oil Sands.
