APRIL 4 2017: ABCGA DIG SAFE CONFERENCE in RED DEER, ALBERTA

The ABCGA Conference brought the CFL Grey Cup and keynote speaker Steve Howe who was gravely injured and nearly lost his life in an excavator assisted logging accident. Steve’s speech brought many people to the shocking realization of the toll an injury on the job site can take. Many people left on the brink of tears or sick to their stomach from the powerful words he had to share. His core message “I proceeded to work unsafe, and I knew that, and I have no one to blame but myself.” He did not do his due diligence to complete his job safely and him, his family and those around him paid a hefty cost.
